My name is Melinda Hennessey-Stocks and my husband Nick and I are building and developing our homestead in Idaho! Follow us in our journey to build our dream home and start our homestead! We are pursuing our dreams of building our forever home on our land and raising a family.
We strongly believe in going back to the land. We strive to become self-sufficient and grow and raise our own food for our family. We feel it is more important than ever to make sure we are eating high quality, locally grown produce, dairy and meats. I have also started foraging in our mountains in the spring and summer and have learned so much this past year. It is amazing what nature provides in your own backyard.
We are also training our labs as bird dogs, and enjoy all the hunting that comes with it! We love to camp, hike, fish, ski, snowboard and explore the outdoors.
