We are a 501c3, non-profit organization with the mission of rescuing primarily small-breed dogs from animal control, hoarder/breeder operations, etc. Our goal is to save their lives, vet them and find them good homes where they will never ever have to worry about being abandoned again. We have high adoption standards because we believe that rescuing is not just about saving their lives... but making sure they never end up neglected, abused and abandoned ever again. Our shelter provides them with all the comforts of a home to better prepare them for their new home and family. We are 100% volunteer-based with approximately 60 volunteers who all have the same passion. We are huge spay/neuter advocates and believe that a pet is a privilege, not a right and they should be treated responsibly for their entire life.
