Stories are the best way to experience magic.. A magic that makes us live many lives and experience and learn from other's experiences. Robert McKee once said "Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world."
Well, Mummy, Kahani Sunao! is my way to put ideas into the world.
Mummy, Kahani Sunao!! was a daily badgering to my mom. My mum was an avid reader and I was addicted to her stories as a child and young adult. Through her stories she would take me to fantasy lands, history, life of the characters of the stories and much more... In those days I would listen to 2-3 stories before I would slip into sleep.
Now, at this age, I realise the real importance of her stories.. They were pearls of wisdom... Whenever, I am in a situation, these pearls of wisdom help me sail through it.. She was using the powerful tool of storytelling to put ideas into my head....
So here are a series of stories from her diary.... Hope you enjoy them!!
