As classical symphonic percussionist of over 20+ years, Calibrate developed his rhythmic repertoire prior to becoming an electronic DJ and music producer. Whether it be minimal tech-house, deep lounge chords, or metallic acid house bass grooves, Calibrate brings a complex and arpeggiated syncopation of rhythmic elements that delivers driving energy and harmonic discovery around every corner. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he gained diverse inspiration from the emerging Hip-Hop, Dance and Bass culture at the forefront of the west coast music scene. After gaining resisdency a some of San Francisco’s premier lounges, he re-located to Los Angeles in 2019. Calibrate's passion for percussion and complex rhythmic layers allowed him to refine a unique sound that transcends luxurious and sensual lounge melodies with the dark and unrefined nature of industrial underground tech house; A delicate balance that requires constant and precise...Calibration.
