Literacy India

Literacy India was established in 1996 by Capt. Indraani Singh as a non-profit organization with the primary objective of providing quality education and skill training to underprivileged women and children and empowering youth to become self-reliant. Our work has evolved in the space of Education, Employment, Empowerment and Environment. Education being the primary focus of the organization is reinforced with a variety of vocational skills and alternative models of education that are relevant, holistic and enriching.It is Literacy India’s motto to impart a basic educational foundation to rural and semi-rural women, youth and children. The methods also include fun learning activities and workshops like Theatre, Craft, Music, Painting, Coding, Robotics etc. Literacy India has its presence in 15 states with an annual reach of 52000 beneficiaries per annum under different projects.
