Channel Description

These videos are from trail cameras set in a small creek in the Oregon Coast Range. I do not use any artificial wildlife attractant, however, I take advantage of the spring-fed pools in the otherwise summertime dry-creek. During the winter, when the entire creek is running, I've lost my water attractant, I put the cameras on trails .
These cameras are on private property with a conservation focus. It is adjacent to thousands of acres of industrial forest lands stretching for 50+ miles. This is good and bad. While there are no people to make garbage bears, Oregon laws governing private land logging are the weakest in the Pacific Northwest. In the future these cameras could be adjacent to a large clearcut that is aerially sprayed with toxic chemicals, with no buffer required on the creek, the same creek enjoyed by the wildlife seen here.
