SHORT STRANGLE
We trade short strangle in which simultaneously we sell an OTM put and an OTM call. This approach is a neutral strategy with limited profit potential. A short strangle profits when the price of the indices (banknifty, nifty & finnifty) trades in a narrow range between the breakeven points.
ADJUSTMENTS
adjusted by rolling one leg of the option up or down as the price of the underlying stock moves. If one side of the short strangle is challenged as the contracts approach expiration, an investor can manage the position to maximize the probability of success.
ALGO TRADING
Short strangle options strategy will be deployed automatically in our trading terminal at the start of the day, will be managed automatically during the trading hours and will be exited automatically at the end of the day, all using a simple script in python.
