The Tropical Sourdough

Hi! I'm Leah from the Philippines. My country is still on a lockdown (currently the longest lockdown in the world) because of the pandemic brought about by the coronavirus. Just like most of you who are stuck at home, I caught the baking bug and I have taken special interest in making sourdough bread. I have already watched a ton of videos about it here in YouTube and for some reason, I couldn't replicate their beautiful results - a sourdough bread that has a nice oven spring, open crumb, and beautiful ear! After months of trying, failing, note-taking, and researching, I have finally achieved the quality of sourdough bread that I once thought was impossible in a hot, humid, and tropical country!
