Hello! I’m Spike, The Frugal Fixer, and I’m here to share the simple, effective "frugal" methods that a lifetime of building has taught me. My shop blends old-school techniques with modern tech, focusing on two main passions: unique building and the world of golf.

Reclaimed Instrument Builds: I craft unique guitars and basses exclusively from locally sourced and reclaimed materials. Watch as I use simple, effective tools and my own homemade jigs and sleds to bring these instruments to life.
The Frugal Fixer Business: After returning to golf, I found a need I could fill and started a business. This is where I now focus my time, making products like the Frugal Fixer Square Golf Stands and Covers.
Tech & Traditional Workshop: My creative process now includes Fusion 360 design and a small 3D printing farm (Bambu machines), but I still rely on my trusted Shopsmith and Radial Arm Saws for signs, tables, and sim accessories.
