The most important factor in on-farm water use management is the planning and setting of an irrigation system. Although the type and texture of soil are the substantial factors in format soil water content, plant and climatic conditions play a large role in defining the limited values of soil moisture to schedule the time of irrigation. Here, the aim of using this measuring instrument is just the irrigation planning; thus detecting the phase of soil moisture for the start and or end of irrigation is more significant than their careful monitoring of soil moisture. An adaptation between fluctuations of soil moisture, plant water consumption, and water distribution system is obtained based on the Fuzzy Logic Theory. The system lies in the part of a farm which is an index of a whole farm, and it uses the relevant sensors to measure soil moisture and input flow rate at this farm unit, or for estimating the crop evapotranspiration.
