My Genderation celebrates trans lives and trans experiences, documents events and is an entirely trans crew. In 2011, Fox Fisher and Lewis Hancox took part mainstream documentary series My Transsexual Summer on C4. Fox felt there was a real lack of authentic representation of trans people in film, and set out to capture stories around them.
My Genderation has over 100 short films, for the BBC, C4 and are screened all around the world at film festivals. We have worked on many trans positive campaigns for Pride in London, Brighton Pride etc and have also made training videos for NHS, GIRES, Stonewall, PReP, LGBT Switchboard etc. We are currently finishing a 10 year film project about trans boy to man, Kai.
