A Civil (Geotechnical) Engineer’s Journey in Australia
I’m an offshore geotechnical engineer based in Perth, Australia. I completed my PhD in Civil Engineering (Offshore Geotechnics) at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Prior to moving to Australia, I earned a Master of Technology in Civil (Geotechnical) Engineering from IIT Bombay and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the University College of Engineering, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
My expertise includes geotechnical site characterisation using advanced in-situ and laboratory testing, large deformation finite element modelling, geotechnical centrifuge modelling, and the design of offshore foundation systems. I have experience in both research and industry, and my current work focuses on the foundations of offshore wind turbines.
