Welcome to my YouTube channel, DIY Home and Gardening.
My name is Ian and I’m based in Essex in the U.K.
I’m a qualified horticulturalist, to degree level, and have been working in the horticultural sector for the last 30 years. Having worked for the RHS and a number of large garden centres I have a real passion for plants, the environment, design, construction and art.
Over the years I have undertaken a few major house renovations and extensions so also know a thing or two when it comes to building and construction.
I set up this channel as a way of sharing my knowledge and ideas with others who have similar interests, but who are not quite sure how things can be done. After all it's easy to forget what you know, that other people would love to learn about.
