Hey, my name is Mike and welcome to Chicago Coaster Guy! Dedicated to bringing you the most info about my homepark of Six Flags Great America! You will also find other theme park news and content here as I get to other parks sporadically. I've been an avid coaster fan since riding Shockwave at Great American in its opening year of 1988! I was hooked after that and instantly became addicted to going to the park! As I got older and was able to travel to other parks my love has only grown stronger for coasters and theme parks in general. While I don't know my exact coster count as I stopped keeping track, I believe it's currently around 600 as I've been to quite a few parks across the US.
