Channel Description
Telford Steam Railway is a heritage steam railway in Telford, Shropshire, UK. We are a small and dedicated group working towards our vision of returning a heritage railway to the world heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge. We currently run passenger trains over around a mile of track, between three stations, using steam and diesel locomotives. We hold many special events throughout the season (www.telfordsteamrailway.co.uk/events), and have a model railway exhibition and Furnaces tearoom open for you to enjoy.
