Brisby Tails

Brisby is a baby Central Florida grey squirrel found in the aftermath of hurricane Irma in 2017. A wet fluffball in a mess of branches and leaves, who hadn't opened his eyes yet. Roads were still blocked, no power or internet so we had to learn fast about these amazing and intelligent creatures. After three months, Brisby happily moved back to the trees above our house. Almost a decade later, and more than 75 successful rehab and releases, we have thriving communities in the woods surrounding us. Many still stop by daily for a snack and a break from the heat. These are our adventures . . . Mostly, squirrels eating. . . mostly . . . Thank you for sharing these adventures.
