Mondays Are Cancelled is Steve Freedom—violinist‑turned‑beat‑master bringing emotion, experimental glitch, and deep grooves to every set. Starting out at age 7 with classical violin, Steve levelled up in Berlin from 2010 to 2015, where he became the first DJ at Bar 25 to perform using only Native Instruments Maschine Live—and today he’s the only one spinning two standalone Maschines, no decks—just raw, expressive performance.
He’s played around the world—from Germany to France to Stockholm to Sydney, Paris to India to Cape Town—delivering exclusive, improvised shows packed with soul. Past line‑ups have included Jake The Rapper, Charlie Delhom, Dirty Doering, and iconic Berlin venues such as Bar 25, Wilde Renata, and Club Maria. Steve recently played at Summercamp Festival South Africa Nov. 2024 and five sets at Africaburn 2025.
His Mixcloud sets have topped the global charts - hitting No. 1 in Electronica, Tech House, Funky House; No. 3 in Deep Tech, Downtempo and Deep House.
