Maya Randle

Maya Randle makes dance music that carries an emotional weight. Debut EP ‘Focus,’ the producer’s first for Pack Records, is a collection of pop-imbued drum and bass that’s both packed with irresistibly catchy tunes and wistful melancholia. Hailing from Birmingham, UK, where she still resides, Randle grew up listening to the grime of the midlands, before cutting her teeth DJing at house parties with friends and teaching herself the basics of production. Initially making drill and rap-type beats as well as dabbling in house music, once she got to know the essentials “since then, I’ve never watched another tutorial,” she explains, preferring to trust her own intuition while expanding her knowledge and confidence as a producer.
