New Clairvaux Abbey

We are Cistercian monks of the Strict Observance, a Roman Catholic order of monks founded by monastic reformers Saints Robert, Alberic and Stephen Harding in the year 1098. Today, we are commonly known as "Trappists." Our lives as monks are governed by a Rule, namely the Rule of Saint Benedict and in the spirit of Benedictine hospitality we welcome you to visit and browse through our videos featured here. Through social media sites like YouTube and others, we hope to give people in our world a glimpse of a life that many may find mysterious.
