Mount Carmel School, is a co-educational English Medium institution comprising of Classes I - XII. It is purely a private unaided institution founded and owned by Mr. Lalnunkunga Sailo on 5th January, 1987. The School is recognised by the Department of School Education, Government of Mizoram.
The School have excelled in the Board Examination ever since its establishment and have swiped TOPPERS and other TOP 10 Rankers quite often in the State. Overall results in the Board Examination are superb and extra-ordinary with 100% passed in 32 years.
The School is unique because it places much emphasis on co-curricular activities equally as on academic activities. The School aims to impart quality education and to exert the potentials and inborn capacity of each individual child to keep themselves aware in every prospect of life and to enable themselves to hold a prominent place in their future career and to face the challenges of life successfully with ease and confidence where ever they go.
