Channel Description
Bromley Salvation Army Church and Community Centre are a group of worshipping salvationists who welcome and care for each individual. They seek to know Jesus and make Jesus known. This YouTube channel was started in March 2020 at the onset of COVID-19 as a means of staying connected to each other and our community.
The Salvation Army expresses its faith through charitable action by working at the heart of communities across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We have 750 community churches and social centres where we offer friendship, practical help and support to some of the most disadvantaged people in our communities.
Motivated by our Christian faith we offer practical support and services to all who need them, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation. Our work includes:
- Homelessness
- Modern slavery
- Poverty
- Addiction
- Influencing social policy
- Older people
- Community - debt advice, unemployment, isolation
