Da Break Channel Description Snapshot
Channel Description
Da Break transforms a few tracks from their “Steady” interlude and delivers four dubs, respecting Reggae culture more than ever. For this mission, they decided to call on: Canadian Dubmatix aka Jesse King, a renowned musician, producer and dubmaker whose talent is particularly appreciated across the Atlantic, revisits their Fine & Steady. Hailing from the same region, Da Break naturally approached Fabasstone, a dub pioneer in France and founding member of the legendary band High Tone - currently half of the electro/dub duo Twinkle - who fell in love with the bass of Get Over Steady and closed the EP with a high-relief version that retained some of Hawa's vocals. Finally, Da Break sought out Fink alias Fin Greenall, a multi-talented British artist, producer and dj who has evolved in electronic music, but is also known for his folk/blues projects. Fink signs 2 versions here, giving a tasteful UK vibe to this previously unreleased EP. Let yourself be carried away... Dub Wise !
