AROMA OF CFMSS

St Francis Province, India is a part of the CFMSS: an international Congregation founded by Venerable Mother Seraphina Farolfi, and with its generalate in Rome. Based on the Eucharistic-Missionary Charism it follows the Franciscan-Clarian-Seraphinian Spirituality. “I Carry the Mysteries” is its Motto, an ardent and vibrant love for the Eucharist its identity and the Holy Hour its badge “Go then my daughters, enkindle, and carry the love of the Eucharistic Jesus to all” is our missionary mandate. The first batch of the CFMSS came to India in February 1901.
St. Francis Province - the first Indian Province was formed in 1971, with its Headquarters at Clara Niwas, Kālu Sara, New Delhi-16. The members hail from different States and we have inter-cultural communities centred on the Eucharistic Jesus. We have 26 communities spread across India, mainly in the North: Delhi, U.P., Uttarkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand, M.P., besides a few communities in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
