Antoni Lis

I was born on November 25, 2009, in Łódź. I study percussion at the Henryk Wieniawski music school. I started playing at the age of 5, taking my first steps at the A. Tansman Primary Music School with prof. M. Cichecki. I achieved first place with commendation at the International Percussion Competition BOLERO in Slovenia (2024) and the Marimba Competition in Opole (2023). I advanced to the semifinals of the World Marimba Competition in Italy (2023). I participated in the Amsterdam Marimba Weekend (2024) organized by Prof. T. Koleva and the International Percussion Workshops led by Prof. S. Halat in Warsaw (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022). I performed at Pol'and'Rock (2020) with P. Bukartyk's band, where I played a xylophone solo. After school, I continue to develop my skills with Ms. Ewelina Hajda. I'm arranging, composing jazz and classical music.
