Peregrine Falcon Apeldoorn

A nest box for a pair of peregrine falcons, located in Toren Noord, Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Every year, since 2015, a pair of Peregrine Falcons nest in the East of The Netherlands at Toren Noord Tower, each year they have max 4 youngsters. Since autumn 2015 the pair is together and since 2017 they are successfully breeding, the youngsters are monitored and ringed by the Netherlands Bird Working Group. Yearly, before the nesting period, 3 cameras are placed so that the Bird Working Group can monitor the breeding season without disturbing the nest or the close area. The videos posted online are for the purpose of monitoring at a distance, as YouTube's servers are provided free of costs, this appears to be the best way to stream and is free of costs, as a bird follower.
