I am Korean teacher Hyunok Jang.
Together with your fellow learner, Gerhard, we're excited to bring you the best Korean language learning experience. We started our YouTube channel in German in 2020 to help students learn Korean during the pandemic. Initially, we created 8 videos on the Korean alphabet Hangeul, which quickly gained popularity beyond our students to the entire German-speaking region.
In 2024, we're thrilled to expand to an English-speaking audience. We'll be publishing 3 new videos every week to help you learn Korean. From learning Hangul to mastering conversational skills, we cover everything you need to become proficient in Korean.
Every teacher has their own methods, and my approach is to build a solid foundation before moving on to more complex topics. We focus on practical usage and understanding, ensuring that each step is clear and logical. We also emphasize the importance of not worrying too much about perfection; learning a language is a gradual process.
