This is a platform for a community of psychoanalytic thinkers, clinicians, scholars, academics, artists, poets and philosophers who are engaged with debating psychoanalytic ideas and their application to society, politics, art, poetry, film, literature, philosophy and clinical settings.
The development of this community was initiated by Michael Benn, a psychoanalyst from Johannesburg, South Africa. The community grew over the last 8 years through the Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Facebook groups which currently have more than 250 000 members.
It is a vibrant community with discussions on psychoanalytical thinking from Freud to Klein, Winnicott to Lacan, Jung to Green and many others.
