Our department offers patient-centered clinical care at UMass Memorial Medical Center, our academic teaching hospital, and in a variety of community and hospital settings. We have critical state partnerships, including staff in the historic Worcester Recovery Center where the father of the American Psychiatric Association developed humane care for people with mental health disorders. Our research focuses on treatment, implementation and prevention of psychiatric illness with a mission to improve the mental health of individuals in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond.
