The Yarnist began life in 2011 as a knitting tutorial site and YouTube channel called New Stitch a Day. We focused on creating clear and simple videos to demystify knitting and crochet.
We briefly rebranded to Knitiversity to broaden our focus on knitting education. In 2020 we announced Yarnist Magazine which has morphed into our current form, bringing all of our previous ventures under one name. :)
