Xanthelasma Treatment Channel Description Snapshot

Channel Description

Xanthelasma is common in today’s society. Xanthelasma is the deposition of cholesterol-laden histiocytes in the dermis. Why do I have it? Are there any underlying medical factors on why I have big yellow blobs living on my eyelids?

You have a lipid disorder, which whilst it will not kill you, it can be seen as an early warning of other more serious illnesses. A lipid disorder usually means that you have high levels of either low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, (the main cause of Xanthelasma), or elevated levels of fats called Triglycerides. The easy way for Xanthelasma treatment and removal is to use a dedicated removal cream, such as Xanthel, but you need to make sure that you are clear on what is the likely cause of you skin disorder. It could be a signal of a lot more serious underlying problems, which we will cover in our videos.
