Channel Description
Indian Journal of Ophthalmology is the peer-reviewed indexed official journal of the All India Ophthalmological Society. It is in its 70th year of publication in 2022. IJO Videos is a companion journal, dedicated to promote high-quality learning resorces in ophthalmology. Published every month, IJO Videos would be incorporated as part of IJO, with PubMed indexing.
Currently accepted video categories are as follows:
Instructional (anatomy and physiology relevant to ophthalmology, optics and refraction, clinical examination, investigation procedures, imaging, research methodology etc)
Descriptive (disease or a spectrum of diseases, treatment procedures, clinical challenges etc)
Surgical (describing a surgery or a spectrum of surgeries or their complications etc)
Innovation (describing an innovation relevant to ophthalmology)
Patient Education (educational films for public/patient awareness)
General (not fitting into any of the above categories but directly relevant to ophthalmology)
