Channel Description
The Mechanics Lectures (TMD) enables rapid communication of research through hosted-webinars and video-lectures to highlights the role of mechanics in multi-disciplinary areas across engineering, medicine, physics, chemistry, and biology. TMD provides an avenue for lectures in all areas including experimental, theoretical, and computational investigations in solid and fluid mechanics. In addition, TMD likes to highlight tools developed as a part of research and teaching and also tools of interest to young researchers.
TMD lays particular emphasis on open-source publishing. All of TMD’s lectures and webinar videos as open-source and are available through Zenodo (for download) and Youtube (for viewers). In addition to the videos, the supplementary materials like published papers and discussion questions are also made available through Zenodo. The video lectures and webinar are telecasted live.
