Pacific Whale Foundation is an IRS 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt non-profit, dedicated to protecting our oceans through science and advocacy. We are an international organization, with ongoing research studies in Hawaii, Australia, and Ecuador, and are active participants in global efforts to address threats to whales and their ocean environment.
Our members and PacWhale Eco Adventures cruises directly supports our mission. Since 1980, we've raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support marine research, education and conservation programs. We are a world leader in marine ecotourism. For 37 years, we have been providing top-quality ocean adventures for people of all ages. Every PacWhale Eco Adventures cruise is led by a team of certified Marine Naturalists, all of whom hold graduate or undergraduate degrees in marine biology, ecology or related sciences.
