Quilt As Inspired - Ann Myhre

Welcome! Here you can view demos that accompany some of the techniques given in my book, Quilt As Inspired, Volume I, available through Amazon.com in mid-May 2016. It is the ultimate in the quilt-as-you-go approach to quilt making and gives detailed instruction on joining quilted sections with or without borders or sashing. In addition, the quilts contain many different arts and crafts works such as applique, embroidery, background and motif quilting, and painting fabric with textile inks. You can see demos for a few specific quilt sections on this channel. While the videos are intended to enhance the lessons of the book, my hope is that I can pass along some valuable tips for working through different techniques to everyone passionate about fiber arts.
