Dominic Power is a UK based peripheral nerve surgeon. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham where he supervises MSc neurosciences and BSc Anatomy, is an external examiner at Cambridge University (MPhil) and Erasmus in Holland (PhD). He leads the HaPPeN research group, has research collaborations with ERASMUS in Holland with PhD candidates, has established a CRN for peripheral nerve in the UK, has established the GEMS Tracker outcomes database for UK nerve research, has authored more than 150 peer reviewed publications and more than 300 research presentations at scientific meetings. He is passionate about surgical education, is the Editor of OrthOracle Wrist and Hand online procedural atlas, runs cadaveric workshops in nerve surgery, is a faculty member for multiple Uk and international courses, has given more than 500 invited lectures. He is a journal editor and reviewer, an innovator in nerve surgery and a founding director of The Global Nerve Foundation.
