Something is very wrong at Smith College. The college administration's many initiatives aimed at achieving "racial justice" are destructive and divisive. Telling us what to think and feel about ourselves and others based upon skin tone (or any other immutable characteristics) is NOT progressive and it not "inclusive." We need to have an authentic discussion about the damage this rhetoric has caused and find a new path forward. UPDATE: Smith College does not want to have a discussion. I have filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
