I make videos about my music science lectures, documentaries and shorts.
My name is Leonardo, I am a neuroscientist of music therapy. On this channel, I explore neuroscience, philosophy, history & spirituality that is relevant to my career as music scientist. Since January 2024, I am a PhD student at the Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research (CIMTR, at ARU) studying Music for Sleep in dementia carers.
I have worked on music-therapy projects with dementia, substance misuse and several electroencephalography projects. My Master's thesis was on people watching Forrest Gump inside a fMRI scanner, at King's College London.
I am also a musician, see my Manukapp channel. The science informs my music, the music informs my science.
