𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲 is a 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲. 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘀 are created by the resist tie-dye method, with thread inter weaving of warp (lengthwise lay of thread) with plain weft (breadth wise thread weaving), or resisted weft yarns interspersed with plain weft. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗸𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 are one of the finest varieties of handloom silk saree from Gujarat. Patola sarees are woven with great clarity and precision. Each Patola saree reflects the skill and imagination of the weaver and is exclusive by nature.
𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰 :
𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗸 is an Organza type of fabric. It has an open weave with coloured silk woven in one direction and metallic thread in the other. This gives a shot effect when used flat. Silk can be totally transformed by scrunching a piece in water. Silk as a material is light and easy to carry.
