An Gwang Hyeon is an artist based in Seoul, South Korea. He deconstructs music through ‘improvisation.’ Between notes that go over creation and death again and again—he fanatically delves into a point where the notation is beyond the bounds of possibility. His work is 'momentary' or 'provisional.' He doesn’t ‘make’ or ‘compose’ a certain thing. He simply shines a light on human tragedy, fate, and momentary intuition. He tries to strip away the aura of modern ‘conceptions and reason’. And he again tries to call upon the pure spiritual ritual of a primitive age, through his body.
