Welcome to Quilting for the Soul! This is a home for beginner and seasoned quilters to share advice, chat, and gain knowledge on a craft that we all love to do. You will follow along as I make mistakes and work through them. I am new to quilting and am drawing on the confidence of my grandmother, Vella C who I used to sit under and watch quilt.
While I sadly did not realize at the time how important it was to learn this special craft I believe she watches over me as I work on my quilts today. I can hear her calling me by my nick name as I sew "Josey" . It warms my heart. This craft truly feeds the soul. Welcome and feel free to reach out to me anytime.
