Hello there all the food and Laura in the Kitchen lovers!
My name is Ruta, I’m a Lithuanian currently living in Iran (update: since 2016 in Turkey; update: since 2018 in Lithuania).
Inspired by Laura and “Julie & Julia” (the movie) I’ve started a fun and delicious challenge, where I’m trying every single recipe of Laura, one by one. Oh, and did I mention – for the first time.. in front of a camera! Mistakes and funny things are bound to happen, as my cooking story began with the first day of this challenge (ashamed to admit – I was so terrible at it I was burning even an omelet..)!
While I’m learning the secrets of cooking as I go, we can find out together, what can go wrong when trying out recipes for the first time, what are the absolute winner-recipes of Laura, and what we can learn from my mistakes 😊
In addition, I convert every single recipe I try into the metric system (check the description boxes under the videos!).
