I’m Michelle - a goth, queer, autistic tapestry artist and handweaver based in South Australia.
This channel is a space for creatives drawn to texture, process, and the darker, more unconventional edges of making. Through handwoven tapestry and textile art, I share my creative practice in a way that’s slow, honest, and grounded - with the aim of inspiring other artists to trust their instincts and follow their own creative paths.
By day, I work a full-time job. By night, I run Threefold Designs from my home studio, creating one-of-a-kind handwoven scarves, genderless soy candles, and original tapestry artworks. I’m an award-winning tapestry artist, deeply influenced by repetition, intuition, and the beauty of the unusual.
