IGHP is established to propagate and enhance dissemination of histopathology knowledge especially in field of Gastro and Hepatopathology. There is significant lack of specialised training in gastro hepatopathology which constitutes major work of histopathology reporting. The underlying idea is disseminate the knowledge in these areas to uniform the reporting patterns.
