Channel Description
This is a reading series meant for adult non-readers and 18 month old children or older. You'll know if your child is ready and mature enough to comprehend the concepts, or if they have the needed attention span. I do not speak down to the student. I may be silly...but serious.
All videos should be VIEWED IN ORDER for the student to fully grasp each concept, as they are built upon each other. Skipping a video may cause confusion about a concept.
This is exactly how I taught my granddaughter to read when she was 3 1/2 years old.
Only work for 15 minute increments for optimal attention. Practice writing letters for up to 10 minutes. I worked with my granddaughter for 15 minutes twice each day on phonics, 10 minutes twice a day for writing letters.
Short vowel sounds:
/a/ as in cat
/e/ as in net
/i/ as in sit
/o/ as in hot
/u/ as in cup
