Channel Description
We think about climbing gear 24/7. And we think a lot of people using life supporting gear in the vertical world could benefit from the knowledge gained from those thoughts through all of the stuff we test and try. We, that is Phil (Head of Product), Daniel (Head of Innovation) and Flo (Team Lead Academy).
We are admittedly all employed by Edelrid. However, this channel is not about our products. We aim to inform about general issues that can be encountered with all kinds of gear and therefore can benefit everyone. Though, what you often will see are Edelrid products as on the other side we do not want and can not bad mouth others.
So another channel breaking and testing gear. But what can we add? Well, we are a manufacturer. That means state of the art laboratories, the ability to test many products, insights into the construction&production methods, standards and risk assessments and the ability to prototype all kinds of imaginable variations for testing.
