Channel Description
The official channel of NSF BioXFEL Science and Technology Center. This channel's mission is to broaden the scientific community’s exposure to the development of new techniques for observing molecular machines.
We develop hardware and software tools needed to exploit the unique capabilities of X-ray free electron lasers in probing biophysical and biochemical questions. These tools are being applied to a wide range of scientific inquiry, including the studies of photosynthesis, enzyme function at the atomic level and drug-target proteins and drug-delivery.
