Ginger is a tropical plant and it thrives well in mild temperature 15 to 32 C. Vegetable Research Institute, AARI, Faisalabad is working for its variety development and successful cultivation of Ginger crop in Pakistan as our country has to meet its total Ginger requirement through import that is huge burden on public exchequer.
This Channel has been created for disseminating information on how to cultivate Ginger in hot climate like Pakistan. Thanks to Almighty! We have developed 1st ever Ginger variety of Pakistan "AARI Ginger 2023" which has been approved by Punjab Seed Council in 2023. Further we have developed a complete production technology of Ginger for its successful cultivation in Pakistan.
