Hey!
My name is Gene, and I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. I am a licensed trapper who does work for our municipality by removing beaver dams from our water drainage systems. Beavers from surrounding areas will move into these municipal drainage systems and cause flooding. They affect farm fields, culverts, roads, hi-ways, bridges, and people's homes!! I do help private landowners as well. They have similar concerns but with some added threats. They want to protect their trees and trails! An overpopulation of beavers can cause once good usable land into an unpassable swamp in a hurry.
In addition to just dealing with beavers, I also travel our local waterways and record the journey. If you are into great scenery and nature sounds. My Canoe Rides playlist is for you.
