Cytrus Music

Cytrus is an eight-piece Seattle fusion band blending funk, disco, electronic, rock, hip-hop, and prog. The group formed when two Everett bands—HopSol and Bunk Foss—were forced out of their shared rehearsal space, inspiring a final jam that sparked a new beginning. Their breakthrough came after winning the 2019 Summer Meltdown Showdown, followed by the legendary late-night renegade “Dome Jam” that cemented their reputation. Since then, they’ve grown across the Pacific Northwest, supporting bands like STS9, Orgone, Ibibio Sound Machine, and returning to Summer Meltdown, and headlining Re/Evolution Festival. Known for juicy synths, groove-heavy rhythms, and seamless transitions, Cytrus showcases their sound on their debut LP “Concentrate” and their new release “DUALITY”.
