Channel Description

The In Crowd is an American hip hop and R&B music video show, set up in a on-location format, that was broadcast on Saturday afternoons at 2:00 pm ET/1:00 pm CT via Spectrum on Double Helix Corporation Channel 22. It was the network's highest-rated music television show throughout its run. On December 31, 2011, the show moved to a digital-only format when Missouri's statewide video franchise legislation sunsetted St. Louis City's cable franchise ordinance.

The show was originally produced in St. Louis, MO, and the title of the show is derived from Dobie Gray's 1964 song titled "The 'In' Crowd".

KL "KUZN" Jackson was the first host of the show since it premiered on September 13, 2003, with many others appearing as guest hosts and co-hosts.

The show launched as an hour-long show since inception and in 2005 spawned a rock and alternative music show titled, The In Crowd 2 to supply the demand for it's viewers.
